Seeing Fantastic Mr Fox this weekend at my local cinema. I absolutely adored the book- it’s actually responsible for sparking my love of literature, so I owe Roald Dahl a hell of a lot. Anyway since the film’s directed by Wes Anderson, I’ve decided to jump on the band wagon and get acquainted with Anderson’s earlier works. Chai tea & The Royal Tenenbaums tonight, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou tomorrow night & then on Sunday I’m off to see The Fantastic Mr Fox, woo.
Wes Anderson & Sophia Coppola pictured above; she’s okay too I guess. Well Lost In Translation was great, Marie Antoinette was pretty & had a good soundtrack. The Virgin Suicides sucked however, simply on basis of the cast: I can’t stand Kirsten Dunst & Josh Hartnett. Yep that’s right, you’re both so talentless & annoying that you don’t even get your names highlighted in bold, boo yah.
